Welcome to the Salon – Self-made!
In our exhibition about Jewish salon culture, you will learn more about famous women, who ran noble salons in Vienna and other places. At the time, various prominent guests were invited to these salons – artists, writers, journalists, doctors, and musicians. They discussed, philosophized, played music and also ate and drank in the salon. You will get to know the famous salon hostesses and their guests, and even design the furnishings for your own imaginary salon in  an elegant or completely modern design - it's up to you and your imagination!
