We celebrate Tu BiShvat!

  • Jewish Museum Vienna 11 Dorotheergasse 1010, Vienna Austria (map)

On this Sunday, trees will celebrate New Year’s at the Jewish Museum Vienna! This festival is called “Tu BiShvat” in Hebrew, because it takes place on the 15th day of the month of Shevat (February 10, 2020). You can find out why trees and plants celebrate New Year’s Eve in an exciting rally through the entire museum. In the atelier we’ll design pretty New Year cards for your favorite plant. A healthy fruit quiz with 15 fruits is likewise on the program, which is suitable for children ages 6 to10. Younger guests are welcome to attend, but in this case we ask parents or escorts for their presence during the workshop.

Free admission for children, adults € 6, or free with the wienXtra-Kinderaktivcard

Advance booking requested: Tel.: +43 1 535 04 31-1537 and -1538 or e-mail: tours@jmw.at.
