On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, the Jewish Museum Vienna invites visitors to a special guided tour starting at 3 pm of the permanent exhibition “Our City! Jewish Vienna Then to Now.” Who were Hilde, Lilly, Margit, Miriam, Fanny, Julie, Käthe, Bertha, and Marie? The tour concentrates exclusively on stories of women and looks at those objects and situations that are directly connected with them. How famous women became networkers, how they fought for social and political acceptance, or simply left their mark on history: a tour of Jewish Vienna, to which men are also invited.

Participation is free of charge with a valid admission ticket. All female visitors will receive a small present as long as supplies last.
