Dialogue tour by bicycle

The old Rhein was a goal of survival for thousands of Jewish refugees in 1938. Many tried to escape the horrors of the national socialism and dared to escape to Switzerland first legal but soon illegal. The origin and eventful history of this green border will be at the heart of our bicycle tour along the river course. At several stops we will show you the landscape and tell stories of the old of Rhein - stories of successful and unsuccessful escapes, of resistance and collaboration, of escape helpers and deserters.
