Talk in English Language: The artist Fiamma Montezemolo (San Francisco) with Anika Reichwald (Jewish Museum Hohenems)
Fiamma Montezemolo lives and works as an artist and a cultural anthropologist in San Francisco. As a scientist she works in the field of „Border Studies“ and teaches as a Associate Professor at the Department of Cinema and Digital Media at the University of California. As an artist she works with different kinds of media (installation, photography, video, archive, cartography) at the threshold of aesthetic production and critical Ethnography. Her works has been repeatedly exhibited in Europe and America and most recently in Miami, Athens, Mexico City and Rome. Her last book publication was along with Josh Kun: "Tijuana dreaming: life & art at the global Border"(2012). " With Hohenems she combines the story of her family - the family Brunner.
