Austrian Future Fund

The Future Fund of the Republic of Austria subsidizes scientific and pedagogical projects which foster tolerance and mutual understanding on the basis of a close examination of the sufferings caused by the Nazi regime on the territory of present-day Austria.

Keeping alive the memory of the victims as a reminder for future generations is one of our main targets, as well as human rights education and the strengthening of democratic values.

The working language of the Future Fund is German. We therefore ask for your understanding that we are not in a position to give more detailed information in English concerning our activities and projects. However, you can find a very short description in English of each project mentioned in our database.
