Presented by the Central Association of Austrian Architects since 1967, the Austrian Builder-Owner Award has grown in significance over the years, serving as the model and inspiration for a number of regional and international architecture prizes.

Erhard Stackl is the new Editor-in-Chief of the magazine “Das Jüdische Echo - Europäisches Forum für Kultur und Politik” (The Jewish Echo- European Forum for Culture and Politics). He succeeds Marta S. Halpert, which had been Editor-in-Chief since 2008 but retired from the position at her wish.

The year 2013 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Richard Wagner, one of the most controversial characters of the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centuries. His essay Das Judenthum in der Musik (1850 and 1869), his operas, and many other statements established him as one of the most prominent anti-Semitic figures within the German-speaking bourgeoisie.
