Dancing in Auschwitz? Taking selfies on graves? Filming in gas chambers? Utterly tasteless or totally fine?

#uploading_holocaust is a multimedia web project that wants to find out how young people today deal with the memory of the Holocaust and how they imagine a contemporary culture of remembrance. Every year thousands of young Israelis go on a special field trip: The "Journey to Poland" takes them to former concentration camps and memorials. They record their experiences in YouTube videos thus enabling a moving look at the history of the Jews in Europe.
