The Nordbahnhof Project continues in autumn 2019 with a new Reading Circle, dedicated to the practice of historical research, the culture of remembrance and discursive exchange. Each session is hosted by a special guest, who selects a text of personal interest and leads the discussion in line with his or her line of current creative inquiry. The selection of various venues underpins the programme’s mission to attract diverse participants.

Host: Zsuzsi Flohr is a Hungarian visual artist based in Budapest and Vienna, and a Ph.D. candidate at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Her research-based practice deals with issues of the third generation after the Holocaust and the relevance of art in the making of familial,
social, and political memory politics. In 2017 Flohr presented at the 57th Venice Biennale’s Research Pavilion. In 2018 she participated in the Past (Im)Perfect Continuous Conference at Sapienza University of Rome, and in The Nordbahnhof Project.
